I started to regret having my baby and I am just now trying to come to terms with my financial situation and pull myself back together

Until recently I was working as a part-time administrator/paralegal, when I fell pregnant with my second child. At three months I made my boss aware of this. The following day he asked me if I could go back to working full-time, how would that be possible?

I was previously full-time but my contract was changed after he threatened to sack me 6 months into the job (long story).

He made me aware of the possibility of being made redundant and went through a shabby consultation process. During this process he employed another person on a three month contract to take over some of my work.

I should add we were scheduled to move office which up until I told him I was pregnant, it was my role to organise the move. There was no suggestion of me possibly losing my job months leading up to the move.

His reason for making me redundant was on the grounds that he needed someone full-time at the new office due to the new layout, a job share was suggested by myself, which he shot down immediately.

Such a nasty man. I started to regret having my baby and I am just now trying to come to terms with my financial situation and pull myself back together. Family comes first!
