No special pregnancy consideration

I work in a retail environment and our store was in need of a full time employee in management. I had voiced interest in the position and was currently 5 months pregnant. I was not only overlooked for the position I wasn’t even given the opportunity to interview for the position before it was filled.

Then when I was around 7 months pregnant I had a sit down discussion with the store manager about being overlooked and ignored amongst other topics and instead of giving me a reasonable answer I was told I was apparently lacking energy. I don’t know about other people, but when your body aches, you swell constantly and still have to run from one end of a store to the other waiting hand and foot on customers, you tend to get worn out. I feel that there could have been a reasonable accommodation for my condition but nothing was ever considered.
