I didn’t have any issues while pregnant or returning to work however, as a mother of a now 3 year old and working part time I am now being made redundant. I have 10 years experience with my company, 6 of those full time. My job role changed when I returned but it changed for the better I love my job more than I did previously. There are other team mates who I know I out perform even in my part time role yet I am the one they chose to be going! Unfortunately in the industry I work in and where my expertise is I won’t be able to go part time with another company. So am now left with a dilemma – sacrifice my career or sacrifice my family leaving the house at 7 and not getting home till 6/7. I didn’t have a child for someone else to raise him. And now I have to go out and prove I am worth my job yet again. Not sure I have the fight in me anymore!
