The very same day I came home from the hospital with my daughter I was fired!

I had been in my job about 6 months before I found out I was pregnant while working in a sales position. About 7 months into my pregnancy, I was diagnosed with extremely low blood pressure so I couldn’t stand for very long periods. My company, which was a smaller, family-owned business, agreed to keep me on and moved me to a ‘special projects’ decision so I could sit. I would be in charge of inventory and re-pricing of over 500 items. Sounded like busy work but I wanted to keep my job so I agreed. I took the new position and then I didn’t hear from them for 2 months. They didn’t approve of any of my price changes, didn’t call, email, nothing. The very same day I came home from the hospital with my daughter I was fired!
