It feels like they are trying to make me quit

I have been on maternity leave and I want to return to work. I would like to return on two days a week (I currently work three days a week) but my employer will not let me. I have said I would try and get child care for the other day but they can’t give me set days so I can sort childcare. They are being very unfair. I can not go back to work if they don’t give me set days. I know it’s not what they want as I am no longer flexible. It feels like they are trying to make me quit which is making me very upset and I feel like having a child has destroyed my career. My baby was premature and I found it very difficult at first. They didn’t care about this and spoke to be dreadfully on the phone. I don’t know what I am going to do.
