On returning from maternity leave, I was forced to share my job with my maternity cover after I retuned part-time. I was then informed I would be made redundant. My maternity cover is still doing my old job. I have not been able to find a permanent job since then and my previously successful career is now in tatters. These are the bare bones of what happened to me, but I can’t give full details as I have been gagged after signing a compromise agreement.
But I can say that it has been utterly and totally devastating.
