Launching Flexi-line

Going back to work after you have created a new human can be tough. For a start, you have spent the last few months knee deep in nappies, surviving on 30 minutes sleep a night, continuously trying to milk your own boobs, imagining your baby has some rare, incurable disease as his poo has turned yellow. The joy that is maternity leave – trying to keep a baby alive whilst maintaining some sense of sanity. On top of that, you now have to figure out the complex, expensive and rigid world of childcare, you have to leave your baby for the first time and you have to fit back into your old work clothes when your stomach looks as though it is still carrying a 9 pounder (though very loosely!).

For most parents going back to work full time is financially, emotionally and sometimes physically impossible. Unfortunately our stupid, archaic labour market often seems intent on making flexible working difficult to achieve which makes no sense to anyone, but there we are.

We receive hundreds of calls about flexible working to our free legal advice line which shows to us how important this issue is to all of you, so we wanted to make things a bit more official to ensure you get the help you need when you need it.

We are unbelievably excited to launch our new ‘Flexi-line’ where you can get immediate guidance and advice on how to complete a formal or informal flexible working request and what it is your employer wants to see. The Brilliant Anna Ives from HR Puzzle will be there to answer all of your queries for no charge whatsoever.

If you need some help right now then call our Flexi-line on: 07960113252
The line operates Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9-5pm and Tuesday and Friday evenings 7-9pm
Or email us on: [email protected] and we will get back to you within 48 hours.

Anna has also offered a discounted rate to assist those who have put in a flexible working request and it has been rejected. So if you are in this position, call the hotline for a consultation. Anna will then only charge you £25 n hour for any assistance after that! She is pretty ace, no?
