They always referred to me leaving

I worked for a male dominated building maintenance company, when they found out I was pregnant members of management and even directors, completely ignored me. When I say ignored they completely blanked me not even to say good morning when I walked in the door. I then found out that other colleagues on my team were bought incentive presents to compensate for the fact that I was leaving and they might have to take on small elements of my job until they found someone to replace me. The words maternity leave were never mentioned, they always referred to me leaving, maybe to encourage me to leave. Well they won and I left, during my maternity leave I wasn’t contacted once, I called after 9 months to see if I could go back and was told that I could come back but my responsibilities would be much inferior to my level of experience.
