I just wanted to thank you for the work you are doing and the feature on the BBC yesterday morning.
I instantly experienced changes in my employers attitudes towards me after notifying them of my pregnancy in 2013.
I was forced to take early maternity leave due to unlawful changes in my hours and pay which I believe was done due to my pregnancy.
On request to return to work after my pregnancy, I was advised that I was to be made redundant and offered no suitable alternative roles. I was advised I could apply to be considered for a comparative interview process.
Ultimately I was made redundant within 6 months of the birth of my child.
Yesterday I won my tribunal after a long, expensive and extremely upsetting ordeal.
Your programme on the BBC was showing whilst I was waiting to attend my 2nd day in tribunal and I took some comfort that there are people like you fighting for the rights of mothers.
