Lauren Fabianski
Before joining Pregnant Then Screwed, Lauren built a career in senior strategy roles at marketing agencies, working on everything from premiere league football kits to pension products.
At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Lauren founded an online community to help pregnant women navigate rapidly changing hospital guidance and birth regulations. The group quickly gained national media attention, sparking her passion for advocacy and leading her to leave agency life to join Pregnant Then Screwed.
As Head of Campaigns & Communications, Lauren leads the charity’s research, policy, PR, website, social media and public speaking efforts. Her achievements include spearheading multiple impactful stunts, overseeing a full charity rebrand, and appearing regularly as a spokesperson in major outlets such as BBC News, ITV News, Channel 4 News, The Guardian, The Telegraph and Woman’s Hour. Lauren has been invited to Downing Street to celebrate the charity’s work, advised the Office of the President of the United States on childcare policy, and consistently drives bold, creative campaigns to amplify Pregnant Then Screwed’s mission.
When she’s not working, Lauren can often be found at music festivals. She’s DJed at Glastonbury four times alongside her husband, but cites her proudest achievement as designing a custom disco ball unitard for Mr. Motivator’s on-stage performance at Bestival.
