Sumaiya joined the charity sector nearly 20 years ago and has supported various small charities on a range of projects.

Over the past 5 years, Sumaiya has been honing her skills in People Operations and is currently studying for a CIPD Level 5 in Organisational Learning and Development. She is extremely passionate about supporting mums in their personal and professional development and hopes to use her experience and skills gained through her studies to launch her side project empowering mums to develop confidence.

Sumaiya is a proud mother of 4 boisterous boys and has lived experience of the motherhood penalty having experienced many setbacks in her career including being overlooked for promotion and development opportunities while on maternity leave.   She’s been a super fan of PTS since its launch and is delighted to be joining the team.
