The creeping in of barbaric maternity restrictions is something we are working incredibly hard to prevent. According to NHS guidance you should always be allowed a birth partner, even if you have to switch to a back-up partner.

We are working together with the But Not Maternity Alliance, and our new survey information that you have all been so kind to give us to put pressure on the Trusts. Some have already changed their guidance but we will not stop until they have all been rectified!
