All of the volunteers on The HR Advice Line are appropriately qualified to assist with:
• Flexible working requests – how to make them and how to appeal a request that’s been rejected.
• Guidance on your rights if you are being made redundant and any protections you might have.
• Questions about maternity pay/leave.
• Your legal rights if you are pushed out of your job, demoted, bullied, harassed or experience any other form of discrimination as a result of pregnancy, maternity leave or parenthood.

Legal referrals through our Advice Line can provide up to 60 minutes of free legal advice over the phone. When you call our HR Advice Line, our team of volunteer HR advisors will determine whether a referral to legal partners (Primas Law) is required. The team from Primas will then contact you to discuss what has happened and what to do next.
Legal advice is currently only available for England and Wales.
