Demand for our Advice Line and Email Advice Service is very high at the moment, so we kindly ask that you check our online advice resources before calling or submitting an advice request.
When you call our HR advice line, you will be placed on hold until one of our volunteer advisors is available. Please note that we receive a very high volume of calls and have between 1-3 volunteers available at any one time, so you may be on hold for up to one hour. After that hour your call will be diverted to voicemail—we can not guarantee that we will return your call if you leave a message, so please try again later.
If you are unable to get through, please try our email advice service. You may also want to contact ACAS or the Equality Advisory Support Service (EASS).
Our volunteers are all trained HR professionals who care deeply about tackling pregnant, maternity and parental discrimination in the workplace. You can expect an empathetic ear and well informed advice. If the volunteer is unable to answer your questions, they may refer you to our legal partners or signpost you to another organisation that may be able to help.
Please note that we are unable to offer advice on self-employment, benefits or birthing restrictions.
For advice on benefits, please contact Citizens Advice.
For advice on labour and birthing, please visit Birth Rights.
Now that you know what we can help with, when we’re open and what to do if you can’t get through, please call our advice line on
