Our volunteers are all trained HR professionals who care deeply about tackling pregnancy, maternity and parental discrimination in the workplace. When you call our Advice Line you can expect an empathetic ear, well informed HR advice and information about your employment rights, and signposting to further support. Our volunteer HR Advisors will talk through your situation with you, and offer HR advice and guidance. If they feel your situation may require further advice, they can signpost you to other organisations for support.
Demand for our Advice Line service is very high, so we kindly ask that you check our online advice resources before calling. Please note that we receive a very high volume of calls and have between 1-3 volunteers available at any one time. You may not get through straight away, and if the line is busy you will be advised to try again later.
Before calling, please be aware that our volunteers can’t provide legal advice, prepare any legal documents or provide legal representation. Our advice line also does not provide financial advice, medical guidance or health diagnoses, advice on childcare or childcare funding, self-employment, benefits or birthing restrictions.
