Over 2022 to 2024 we will improve and develop our impact, focusing on four strategic priorities:

Increase the diversity of women we support and of our volunteers, mentors and staff team.

Objectives

I. Increase the number of Black, Asian and ethnic minority women using our services

Ii. Increase the number of Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent women using our support services

Iii. Increase the number of single mothers using our support services

Iv. Increase number & diversity of volunteers supporting our helpline and mentoring services

V. Improve our consultation and partnership work to reach underserved groups.

Raise public awareness & achieve tangible change within corporate, government and legal policy (via five high impact campaigns).

Objectives

I. Raise overall awareness of the motherhood penalty

Ii. Campaign to secure public & gov. Backing for change in use of NDAs.

Iii. Campaign to increase the number of MPs who are mothers of young children.

Iv. Campaign for a more affordable, good quality childcare system

V. Influence the inclusion of our campaigns in Party Manifestos

Vi. Engage with employers to encourage them to make their workplace the best it can be for working parents

Increase the number of women using our support services and the financial/ employment/ mental health outcomes achieved.

Objectives

I.  Increase use of our helplines by 30%,

II. Establish a new email support service offering email advice and support for 250 pregnant women and mothers per year

III. Increase use of our mentor scheme

IV. Secure £1 million in settlement agreements via our mentor scheme

V. Increase access to advice for our community

VI. Provide effective mental health support to 500 women p/a.

Increase the financial and operational sustainability of the organisation.

Objectives

I. Increase income from individual donors

II. Increase our income from trusts and foundations

III. Increase income from Pregnant Then Screwed training

IV. Increase other unrestricted income

V. Improve our monitoring, evaluation and reporting capacity

VI. Improve overall website reach, brand identity, clarity of ‘charity’ & ‘professional service’ message
