Martha Crawford is currently an Assistant Director at the Living Wage Foundation, part of Citizens UK. In this role, she oversees the Business Development and Policy team, the Global Living Wage team and co-leads the Citizens UK wide Learning and Innovation team. Her role at the Living Wage Foundation is responsible for our diversification and innovation strategies to develop innovative levers to tackle in work and post work poverty with our accredited network of employers in the UK and in other countries. This includes the Living Hours and Living Pensions campaigns. Martha’s role includes responsibility for innovation and staff and community leaders learning across Citizens UK.

Since joining Citizens UK in 2015 from different business development roles at London South Bank University, Martha has worked in different roles across the organisation. Martha lives in London with her two young children and is expecting two more to join the fold in the summer of 2026.
