I am Modupe Esan, a Human Resources professional with a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and a CIPD Level 7 qualification. Over the years, I have built a strong commitment to promoting fairness, inclusion, and equality in the workplace, particularly in supporting women’s rights and wellbeing.

For the past five months, I have been volunteering with Pregnant Then Screwed, where I contribute to supporting women facing workplace discrimination related to pregnancy and maternity. My passion for this cause stems from both my professional experience as a People Manager and a personal experience involving a close friend who was unfairly dismissed after her employer discovered she was pregnant.

This experience highlighted the challenges many women continue to face in the workplace and strengthened my determination to advocate for fair and just treatment. Throughout my career, I have consistently ensured that the women I managed were treated with respect, equality, and fairness, and I remain committed to championing positive workplace practices that protect and empower women.
