Time commitment

The march will take place on 29th October 2022 so it is important that you are available on the 28th and 29th October. We expect each role to be approximately 6 days work between May and 29th October.

Volunteer stewards

Volunteer stewards will be available on the day to ensure the event runs smoothly. Each region will require 10 stewards to be available from 10am – 1pm on Saturday 29th October.

Tasks will include:

  • Stewarding event, including directing attendees, providing key information
  • Welcoming attendees to the march & cultivating a supportive atmosphere
  • Regularly communicating with the Volunteer Coordinator throughout the march

Volunteer first-aiders

We are also looking for volunteer first-aiders to support across the locations, so please let us know if you are first-aid trained when applying for any of the roles.

To apply for these roles, please email [email protected] with the following details:

  • Which march are you interested in supporting
  • What role are you applying for
  • What relevant experience do you have
  • Why are you interested in applying for the role
  • If this is for a coordinator role, rather than a steward role, please give us a good idea of your availability

What you get in return:

These roles are an incredible opportunity to support local mums to have their voice heard. You will meet new friends, and senior people within your local region, as well as linking up with the local press and working directly with the PTS team to make change happen.  All coordinators will be sent a free book, PTS badge and PTS postcard to say thank you.

Deadline for coordinator roles: 30th May 2022

We may close this listing early if sufficient applications are received.

Deadline for stewards: 30th August 2022
